Property Hero

Property Hero is a property management Web application for desktop, mobile and tablets. It allows landlords to organize and manage their buildings efficiently. PropertyHero streamlines customers’ abilities to track tenant leases, rent payments, COI’s and contact information. It also allows them to manage building maintenance, service requests, to-do’s, and keep an active record of key dates. It can be accessed on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Dan was the consulting Creative Director responsible for designing and building in-house the first product user interface from the ground up for mobile, iPad and web. He also worked with marketing on designing promotions and the new company website.

Bob consulted through Dan to build Property Hero’s mar-com website.

Moms & Jobs

Moms and Jobs—MoJo—was a Boston-based social venture whose objective was to address the issues facing poverty-stricken mothers. MoJo’s goal was to provide single mothers freedom from the strain of daycare costs and a new career path by enabling then with a new start in the apparel business. All proceeds from product sales were devoted to providing better-than-minimum-wage salaries, new career paths, and freedom from prohibitive daycare costs.

Dan was the Creative Director of Moms & Jobs. During his time there, he created the company brand (in two phases—”Original MoJo” that you see here, and later, “American MoJo), managed a vast array of product photography and model shoots, designed the commerce website, and conceived and designed the many seasonal product promotion campaigns.

The “Original MoJo” brand was the first incarnation of MoJo’s look-and-feel.

 

American MoJo

The American MoJo brand was a reinvention of the “Original MoJo” look-and-feel that centered around keeping jobs in America.

U For Life

U For Life is a social networking Facebook application that offers schools an innovative, easy-to-implement social media strategy for sustained alumni engagement. The app is a relationship-building platform that enables school development professionals to interact with the community, keep up to date on their alumni, improve participation rates and reduce cost-per-dollar raised. By leveraging the viral, real-time nature of social media, U For Life fosters an interactive community environment in which alumni can network, rediscover lost friends and spark conversations about current or nostalgic content.

Dan is U For Life’s consulting Creative Director. He has created the company’s look-and-feel, and all branding and collateral. Applying his specialized knowledge of social networking environments, Dan has worked closely with development to produce the Facebook application’s GUI and user experience.

RapidBuyr E-commerce Website

RapidBuyr is a daily deal and e-commerce company focused on the B2B market for small to medium-sized businesses. Along with daily deals, RapidBuyr offered over 30,000 office product SKUs.

Dan designed RapidBuyr’s e-commerce website, from the ground up, for desktop and mobile. The e-commerce engine was from ShopVisible. RapidBuyr.com needed to be responsive and simple to use, while also supporting dozens of cobrands, where RapidBuyr’s brand became a white label behind the partners’ brand.

There were many aspects of the e-commerce website that needed to be designed effectively. There needed to be promotion pages, subscriber management controls, sectioned product detail pages, a main catalog page of “deal tiles”, daily HTML subscriber emails, and much more.

And there was also producing the daily onslaught of deal images that needed to be crafted and posted to the site.

PixWithMe Photo-Sharing App

PixWithMe is a free group photo-sharing application that works on Facebook, or as a standalone Web application for desktop browsers and Android and iPhone mobile, as well as iPads. Photo-sharing is facilitated by providing mobile photographers with a “PixBoard”—a single virtual location for multiple users to upload their smartphone photos. PixWith me is popular for sports events, weddings, reunions, and most any kind of event for two or more people. When there is an event with multiple photographers, one person creates a PixBoard, and invites friends.Within seconds everyone can share their event photos in one accessible virtual place.

Dan is a partner and Creative Director atPixWithMe. He has created the company’s look-and-feel, and all branding and collateral. Applying his specialized knowledge of social networking environments, Dan has worked closely with development to produce the the PixWithMe app’s GUI and user experience. In addition, PixWithMe offers branded photo voting contests that requite art direction for customers to fully integrate their brands and promotions into the PixWithMe environment.
