Project Description

Avid Technology specializes in video and audio production technology. They make digital non-linear editing systems, management and distribution services. Avid initiated an experimental project called Make.TV, to create a social collaboration engine for video production. Dan Lynch designed the identity and the social interfaces for a prototype participatory media production portal for Avid. Make.TV combined elements of social networking with video blogging. It was a socially interactive storytelling center for filmmakers, editors, photographers, DJs, and musicians.
